Who they are
AMC is a non-governmental organization based in Angola, focused on empowering women and young people to take an active role in the public and political life of the country. Their activities are centered on raising awareness about rights, public institutions, decentralization, and participatory governance.
mission
To train, inform, and raise awareness among women and young people in Luanda about their rights, the work of public institutions, and the significance of decentralization and participatory governance. Through a series of workshops, talks, and community dialogue circles, AMC aims to foster a deeper understanding of governance processes and engage citizens in local decision-making.
impact
AMC’s project will directly impact the population of Luanda, with a special focus on women and youth. By increasing their knowledge and participation in public affairs, AMC envisions a more informed and active community that is better equipped to influence local governance and contribute to sustainable development.
Duration of activity
The total duration of their project is 12 months, beginning May 14th 2024 and ending May 13th 2025.
