After visiting the pilot municipalities in the provinces of Huambo, Benguela, Huíla and Malanje, we ended the mission in Luanda.
Our first stop in Luanda was marked by a cordial meeting with the provincial governor, Manuel Homem. We present the project, share ongoing actions and discuss next steps. We are thrilled with the openness and commitment of the Luanda government to support the project.
At the same time, we promoted a meeting with civil society organizations. We present the second call for project financing applications, as no project was approved in the first phase in Luanda. We explain the guidelines, selection criteria and open the floor for questions, encouraging participation in the second phase.
It was an intense journey, but we are satisfied! We thank the team, the European Union in Angola / European Union in Angola, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and civil society for joining us in favor of participatory governance. Together we are stronger!
