PASCAL held a productive meeting with journalists, where they discussed the vital importance of highlighting participatory governance in the media in Malanje. Journalists from the main media outlets brought challenges faced in the exercise of their profession, as well as training needs in specific areas.
It was an open dialogue that included valuable contributions from the Delegation of the European Union in Angola, the Secretary of State for Territorial Administration and the Vice-Governor for Technical Services and Infrastructure of the province of Malanje.
With each meeting, we become closer to journalists and, as a result, we expand the possibilities for covering issues related to participatory governance and citizenship in the media. We firmly believe that through training and activities involving local journalists, we can strengthen active citizenship.
Together, we can raise the political awareness of our population, building a more informed and participatory future for everyone.
